Gish PLLC announced today that Darlena Subashi has joined the firm as a Partner. Ms. Subashi joins the firm after nearly a decade of practice, most recently serving as Counsel in the Intellectual Property Litigation group of Alston & Bird LLP, where she represented high-profile clients in cases involving complex technologies. With a particular focus on patent litigation in telecommunications and electronics, Ms. Subashi has counseled clients on disputes in front of district courts, the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the Federal Circuit.
Ms. Subashi’s recent successes include a complete defense victory in a jury trial in the Eastern District of Texas representing a large telecommunications company against allegations of infringement of four patents, including winning summary judgment of noninfringement on one of the asserted patents. Ms. Subashi also recently obtained a complete dismissal of a declaratory judgment action seeking a declaration of noninfringement as to 18 patents in a dispute between companies in the commercial and consumer lighting industry.

Ms. Subashi received her law degree from Duke University School of Law and holds a Master’s of Electrical and Computer Engineering, also from Duke University. After law school, Ms. Subashi clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
